JD fab makes some great bed boxes for battery relocate and compressor. I have one for each.

Oh definitely not done yet. I’m hoping going down to 17x8.5 -10 from the 17x9 -12 will help a lot in reducing how much cutting I have to compared to others here.

Still rubbing at full stuff lol:frusty:

I am slightly rubbing on the UCA and the frame now too, but I have the tie rods off so I’m not sure if the truck can actual turn that far in or out. Will have to see when it’s all put back together.

Hey did you use the same box for the battery and the compressor? I only see the battery one listed on their website.

I added a JD box on both sides of the bed. The battery box (Driverside) you wouldn't want to add anything with the battery. The (passenger) side box holds the twin ARB and room to add a few small items if needed.

Just curious, what do you consider hard technical wheeling? (not looking to be argumentative, genuinely curious as to your definition.

I've run the Rubicon and Fordyce on 35s with IFS. I'm not really sure what they think is hard but I am willing to be argumentative if you aren't. ;)

I've seen little skinny dudes with big fat girls on their shoulders at concerts survive. I've seen Dana 35s in the rocks with 37s wheel hopping survive. I've seen all sorts of shit that won't work repeatedly in the long run work. IFS on 35s at Fordyce can survive for sure but it's rolling the dice every single time and in the long run is a bad choice given other available options.

Rubicon on 35s and stock travel suspension wasn't bad at all. Definitely wasn't going to be doing Soup Bowl (and didn't attempt Little Sluice because of oncoming traffic), but there was only one mainline obstacle I bypassed (my group waited for two hours at the ass end of the bypass for the 50+ oncoming vehicles to pass us). I can only imagine it would be much easier now that I've got mid-travel and a couple inches wider track.

Fordyce, on the other hand... I feel like that's "SAS, buggy, or DGAF" territory.

In what way is it rolling the dice?

Curious what you think the risk is.

Ironically the only time I've ever really done damage is prerunning. Blew an axle shaft and my whole front end landing from a jump at a bad angle. But c'est la vie.

Breaking things is part of the game and even SAS'd (which has plenty of other downsides), you're still going to break things.

Here my rig , on 37s . So I bought 40s already just trying find out that ppl are doing to move stuff from the engine bay , I’m not to worried about tubbing . My main concern is the fuse box ( electrical) stuff , I’ve seen the washer tank hacks seems like I can figure that out anything else i should be concerned about, I wana tub the crap out of it so maybe I can fit 42s for the winter but have a feeling that’s going to hit the headlights , any other retards like me out there ? https://youtu.be/OTmY8-90CeE

Do you have any tubbing done on your current setup?

no ,no tubbing just hammer some of the pinch welds and cut a little off the cab mount ,but i did all that for 33" when i didnt have the rclt , with the rclt kit i think you just go to hammer town and your good but im running a 17x9'' rimand 3.5 or 4'' back space

Yeah, I was going to say. Your fenders are trimmed less than mine were for 35s so I assume you haven’t cycled full travel on them?

Oh it’s cycles all the way my finders are touching the tires at full flex it’s not cut enough , the black plastic finder pieces are coming off later it just looks good for now , my shocks are at the lowest I can still go up a bit , so your saying you have the rclt kit and you chopped more up on 35”s then I did on 37s ?
