I was going to mention stick on spot mirrors worked 30+ years ago for me, I'm sure they still do... lol

But I have spent some time setting my mirrors for optimum viewing, can't see my truck in them, but I can more importantly see other cars around me, you'd be surprised at how many drivers in general now a days don't set, or even know how to, set their mirrors...

Drivers today have me first mentality. With a blind awareness of the world around them. How else do you explain all the crashes?!

Well this world lacks respect and empathy for one another, more so than ever. That's why traffic is so dangerous nowadays.

Over crowded roads, distracted drivers, and some drivers just simply being over reliant on technology and not their own eyes...

But me thinks yours was a rhetorical question... ;)

EDIT: I miss read it the 1st time.. oops... lol

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Tire pressure too high, I doubt you need more than 35psi. They'll wear fast in the center of the tread. What tires and size?

Well of course if my pavement queen ventures out I’ll grab the spare m. But as a daily driver? Eh. I need the room.

    Cooper rugged trek. 285 / 70r 17’s no I want the inflation.
    • Example:
For a 265/70R17 LT Cooper Rugged Trek, a Ranger5G.com forum thread suggests 42-45 psi, a Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek 265/60R18XL 114T BSW tire on Tires Easy says a maximum of 44 psi.

Batteries+ might be a good option. they used to have Duracell AGMs that were rebranded DEKAs.

Turn your parking lights on and you can turn your fog lights on without headlights. I do it at campgrounds at night, etc to be able to find my way without blinding people with headlights.

how much weight are you carrying? i think my Falken's have a max of 50psi but i run them at 34/ 30 to avoid center wear Old School mentioned. also so it doesn't ride so stiff.

A co-worker of mine went to the police academy a few years ago. He said that one guy in his class almost failed out of the academy because he struggled to complete the driving portion without a back-up camera.

    Just a few hundred under 5 k.
Again I prefer the stiff ride.

These motors now with the synthetic oil. I would think nearer a hundred k in miles.I could be wrong but unless your adding a bunch of crap in the motor there really shouldn’t be any sludge to contend with. That is the number one cause that kills pcv valves. IMHO.

As long as you like the stiffer ride then that is great for you. Around 10 years ago I remember a lot of people talking about increasing the tire pressure to increase the gas mileage. So, I decided to increase my tire pressure from 34 psi to 40 psi. After around 10k miles I noticed that my tires started to look like my bald head and the gas mileage difference was minimal. I went back to 34 psi and never looked back. New tires are very expensive and you can buy a lot of gas for what they cost.
