    Hi,

After a long journey looking information about how could adapt the shift paddles to my Tacoma 2019, Finally I was able to achieve it. Yes, I adapted the Lexus shift paddles to the steering wheel of my Taco. Soon I will upload the process, that I did to make it.

    What!?!
Holding judgement until I see the whole thing but isn't this like sticking paddles on Fred Flintstones car?

Side note - The Chevy Malibu I recently rented has paddle buttons on the back of the steering wheel. I went to do some sporty shifting and all it did was change the Sirius XM Station. Initially I was disappointed but then after driving it for a week I figured out I'd rather have that than paddle shifters. I think there's a huge untapped potential to give us plastic flappy paddle gearbox shifters that control other parts of the vehicle.

These shifter paddles really work for shift up and shift down when the Tacoma is in S mode and not to change Sirius XM Station. I like the sporty style of my steering wheel with the Flappy Shifters.

Do you wear driving gloves when you are blazing through the gears?

While I don't much have an interest in doing this myself, I'm definitely interested to see your process on getting this working.

My C6 Corvette had them but I rarely used them. The Corvette automatic transmission was perfection in motion!

This is pretty awesome actually, cool to see something new. I have neither a 3G, or an automatic..but nonetheless, really looking forward to seeing the technical details. I could see this being relatively straightforward, or a real pain in the canbus...

VW puts WAY too many buttons on the dash... that looks too cluttered for my taste.

My VW is a base model, doesn’t have any buttons on the steering wheel :anonymous:, I still have to take the key fob out of my pocket to get into the car.

Then they put a nylon pull strap on the door for the high-end trim.

The GM buttons on the back of the wheel of my Denali were a nice feature, and I would imagine, often went unknown. Man that thing was a POS though, the thing started to fall apart at 90k miles, and at 126k miles I had enough of owning a truck that needed constant repairs.
