Show of hands… who needs purple silverados… I got someone offering me extras in a trade. Don’t want any that won’t pass through. Cost is rack cost (trade), so it’s not a $ problem.

I will let the others chime in for dibs first as I have a single, but would like a couple more, one to open and one for the office wall. So Im down for 2 but if someone else comes along that doesn’t have any then by all means send them along to spread the love.

I got a call from a fellow hunter who asked if I could locate a mustang thing from AutoZone… an exclusive. I see so many AZs that I said sure… well there are 3 different. Each store seems to have just gotten 3 - one of each. Some sort of promo. VERY pricey at $40+ a pop. Anywho… I think he wants the middle one.

 

Those mustangs are going to be worth some bucks on the secondary market

I don’t normally go for dupes myself but the exceptions to the rule are a square body Silverado, the fj, 4Runner, taco, and Datsun as they are all my top tier wants for the real world, either have/had, or will have, and the Silverado in deep royal purple is one of my future plans. Motor and trans swap to a modern v8 with manual, hot heat/cold ac, led all lights, black rims and meaty tires, tastefully lowered 3-4 inches if 2wd or 2 inch lift if 4x4, still on the fence on that. So I figure get these now so I can have the reference and drive albeit small all around.

 

He’s the one who asked for the mustang, so it’s his… he told me he would have taken any, but just wants the Vaugh Gitten Jr. So, if anyone wants the others? Otherwise they gonna be a return… hopefully to a fan, not a scalper.

I acknowledged in my head and realized I didn’t physically. I’ll send you pics of the yotas… @Maximumdarkside was looking for the Miata in trade to me, so perhaps a three way swap is possible too.

That’s gorgeous, I have not seen that in person in the wild, only at scalpers tables. Available with silverados?
