The valving is the shocks performance. Can really dictate mannerisms and performance off-road and on road. Now, would you or I notice a difference? Not too sure. Me, most likely not but I did notice a difference between my elkas and clapped out old man emus.

Generally speaking though they are rebuildable, so you could always get them revalved when rebuild time comes along. Not sure if we would have a rebuilder that could do that in Ontario other then D3

Are they fox or kings? Either way it sounds like they’ll bolt in no issue.

My Fox 2.5s are off a T4R ( well got them off a Tacoma, but the part Number traces to the T4R)
noted at 983-02-025 but i think they are 883-02-025

been 4 years on them, they still hold up fine. I just need to swap to 650lb springs i got laying around...

Just fuckery from Fox. Three different Tacoma shocks all listed for lifted applications with different travel numbers:

    883-06-208: extended 21.87 compressed 16.64
    880-02-418: extended 21.81 compressed 16.91
    883-02-025: extended 22.93 compressed 18.04

KDSS doesn't really impact coilover fitment. The remote resi bracket designed for a Tacoma might not fit on a 4Runner due to different fenderwell shape. However, a remote resi bracket designed for a 4Runner will work on a Tacoma. Most coilover mfrs have transitioned to the vertical-style resi mount to work on both models:

At least they weren't like Park Auto Sports in Kitchener, which lowballs you with a low price online. After you place the order, they email you saying the price is outdated and prompt you to pay the difference. If you don't like it and cancel the order, they try to deduct a restocking fee from the refund, for something they never shipped.

Let me just say this in 15 to 20 years of wheeling and all that never had a problem breaking beads down cuz I just used the high lift Jack and my bumper and my rock slider. But my truck's not up to that now. So I thought I'd try this tool. I am 100% sure that it was a mistake. Anyone who wants to borrow it please come over and take it and borrow it and have at it

Wanted to put this out there for anyone that is interested in a trip out west to BC. My wife and daughter will be coming with me. The plan is set in stone leaving Sunday August 3rd and be gone for 3 weeks. I'm giving myself 3 weeks to enjoy the scenery but a few days here and there won't matter. We are thinking camping and maybe a motel once in a while whenever we find one. Mostly camping
If you're interested let me know.

We are going west too, but at a slower pace with a baby. Whenever @tacoma16 finishes his welding on my LX. I'll message you closer to mid July!
