    Might be remembering wrong but for some reason I feel like they were. Honestly with 5052 it's fine and saves some weight.

    Reached out to Cali Raised and the info I recieved back was 3/16" steel. I was about to fire up our X-Definition HyperThem plasma cutter and make my own backing plates.
