How does that compare with the OEM bed and tailgate?

My cut oem bed was 280. Aslo the rear bumper is going to be alot lighter so I think the weight difference will be negligable. I'll do real math when I get everything.

How's that compare with the factory bed?

Weighing them is definitely one thing I wish I did.

280 vs 332. But the rear bumper will be lighter than a stock setup. Heavier than I thought it was going to be but still comparable to stock

Thanks, Ive honestly been thinking this is the best and nicest thing Ive ever made. And ive been making stuff to some degree for over 10 years. LLast picture is a cutting board I made for my aunt Christmas of 2015, I was like 14 or 15. Im proud of it. Full bed weight is 332 plus a ~40 lb hitch. My stock bed with tailgate, mat, taillights and typical bed junk was 280 then on top of that my bumper is 90 lbs IIRC. So basically no weight change but its pure beef

Tell me more about the cutting board. In all my free time with all my open space been thinking about trying to get into some wood working for fun.

 Him and Baby Ross get me with that all the time. Then on the flipside Matt gets me with how old he is out of nowhere.

I regularly forget my age and have to do math, don't worry Jack.

Cutting board.... You cut wood, you glue wood(green titebond), you flatten wood ( I use a router setup on a sled) and then you sand wood, and sand and sand. Raise the grain with a bit of water. Sand some more. Then I just use a mix of beeswax and mineral oil. I can help more with any specific questions.

Maple and walnut is a pretty classic combo that I think works well.

Heres one I made for the MIL a few years back. This was maple and walnut with some good figure to it.
