Nothing Tacoma related today. She just has to sit and look pretty.

More than any other post on here that needs a round of Kudos. That takes a shit ton of discipline and dedication. And the reward is amazing - a position of F-You.

In a way, yes they can. You can buy clonable sensors, and then clone them to the same frequency as your other rims. You will need to purchase a device that does this, or know someone who has it.

There are a couple different types, black bamboo that is a beautiful species but will run like crazy if not contained, and clumping bamboo that tends to stay in one spot without running. Also very pleasing to look at.

Started adding the extra security stuff to the wife's car. Apparently, the number one stolen car in the U.S. Watch any "side show" video on YouTube and you'll know why. Spent quite a bit of money on detterrants and am finally installing.
Also pulled the cover on the Spod relay module. Stupid thing is draining my battery so I want to reach out to them and see if the dip switches are all in the right place, etc.

23' Hellcat Jailbreak. We had a 16' and it was due for some really $$$$$$$ maintenance. Decided to trade the old girl in for my wife's last car before retirement. I forgot to strip off all the security stuff I put on it before the trade in. I'm a dummy. Whoever got that car got a brand new yellow top and four brand new Conti Extreme DWS +...and a ton of titanium bits. Oh, and the DBA brakes...sadness....
Its all good. If the garbage humans want the car, they will get it. Its just stuff. Friggin scum...

    The 16' before she went.

The good: finally got new front suspension installed to level the tuck. Bilstein 5100s with OME springs. Lift ended up being closer to 3in and now my pizza cutters looks really small, but nice to not have 2-3in of rake.

The bad: took it into the dealership (only because of a free oil change) the next day to get the alignment done and they couldn’t due to the “Lower control arm bushing seized on front cam bolts” which they quoted $2200 to fix. That seemed a little steep, and they were able to adjust the alignment to some degree because it drives 10x worse than when I took it in. So it’s going to another shop on Friday.

Agreed. We measured the new car and it is a full 12" wider than the 16'. All tire and wheel. What is scary, for me, is that I could absolutely flog the 16'. It handled very well with the tires I had on it and the stock suspension in Track Mode. The new car is absolutely absurd. It is terrifying. I try and drive it the same way and it scoots right out from under me. I've added some bits to keep the rear from spinning and its done nothing. The 23' is on stock tires so we will see when they are used up and I upgrade. My gut says thet Mama MOPAR has underrated these cars and it is pushing much more to the wheels than advertised. I don't even dare play with the Pedal Commander. Without the throttle delay I'd probably just spin on my own axis and never go forward. I just don't drive it enough and driving a truck has numbed my race car ricer guy senses as well. Tacomas are much different than STI's and Hellcats. Though, my son says I drive the Tacoma too hard. "Its not an STI Dad..."

The module you see is an Spod relay module with the cover off. Its been draining my battery so I gotta reach out to them and see if all the dip switches and stuff are correct. It should not be draining an Optima Red Top in a matter of hours. Especially with no load other than the little button controller on the dash.

You just cannot beat Yosemite. Especially, if its off season and the tourists are thin.
