I bought Husky too, and it came with no instructions or hardware. Called customer service and they said ill email you the instructions, and create a ticket for the missing hardware. A few days go by and no word, so I decide to return the mud flaps. Website says to destroy them and they will refund me. Seems like a hokey little company and I'm not optimistic about getting my money back.

Posted in another thread, but I got the Weathertechs for my 2025 SR5. Fronts were easy. Rear, there are no screws holding the fender liner to the bed, so I can't use their included screws to attach the mud flaps! I just have these goofy plastic push pin things. Anyone else figured out how to attach mud flaps when there's nothing solid behind there to even attach to?

Those clips hold that fender liner to the sheetmetal. Not sure how much more structure you were expecting to these mount points.

Right, but the WT mud flaps came with screws, and you're supposed to remove the existing screws and then use theirs.

Do you think those clips are long enough to remove and reuse with the WT mudflap? How does one release these goofy things? I tried putting various tools inside the square but they don't seem to want to release.

EDIT: Pulled one out by squeezing it from behind. The plug is too big to fit through the WT mudflap holes as is. However, the included screws do seem to be able to go into the center square and "bite". The back of the plug is solid, so the screw can't go all the way through it without probably breaking this plug. I guess I can try screwing directly into these plugs, and if I break them they're easily replaced.

Other thought was to remove the plugs, then get metal retainer clips to slip over the metal behind the fender liner and then run screws into those.

I finally found instructions for the Toyota brand mud flaps. They seem to indicate you use the provided screws and just screw into these stupid plastic things. I guess that's what I'll try :)

The screws bust through the end of the clip. Not a big deal.

Baja Design Squadron Sport LED lighting . Factory made, backup light kit. operated from stock wiring plug and play through trailer hitch connection.

After doing considerable amount of off-road, you do not want these things to be bolted tight to the rear fender. If you get in a pinch and get jammed up on the rocks or a dirt mound, it will destroy the lower section of the rear fender and then you will have to do bodywork to straighten out the factory Sheet Metal. Believe me I know I did damage to the lower Sheet Metal even with these lightly attached mudflaps when I ripped one off.

    fyi…

That picture is probably pre damage and repair . Your truck does look good sitting there.

Thank you. I can see where having those plastic plugs be somewhat fragile could be a good thing :) Rather have them tear/break out than what happened to you.

I will just run the screws into the plastic plugs since that's what the Toyota OEM ones seem to indicate in their instructions as well. It's just the Weathertech instructions telling me to remove the screws that threw me for a loop when I didn't find any back there.

EDIT: The rear WT flaps installed easily just putting the included screws into those plastic plug things. 5 minutes a side and it's all done. Thanks everyone!

Mine didn't last 2.5 years without getting the major crack below. No off roading and only 12k miles. Garaged too. Reviews on their site say similar things. Mine were custom so they were extra $ to boot. IMG_1433.jpg
