Fair but I've also heard about knockoffs being rampant on Amazon, so I try to avoid it if I can. Depends on the part though...some things a knockoff/cheaper alternative is just fine for

 

as stated lol. yes there is a shiiit load of knockoffs but you can find stuff being sold by the company on Amazon and ebay for cheaper sometimes! not all the times. hell my airflow snorkel that i bought for my grey tacoma years ago i found it on amazon lol. so you can find main brand stuff you just have to look ya know.

 

Yeah, really depends on if knockoff is ok. I ended up buying a knockoff master cylinder for my wife's quad (after I thought I broke it). F'n identical down to the forming marks. Found out that wasn't the problem, but I left it on cause I didn't want to deal with swapping the original back on. It's in a box if ever needed. I'd worry more if it was something I was buying for my truck.

 

I've had both good and bad experiences doing that lol. i've had products sold by the manufacturer and fulfilled by Amazon show up to be fake.

 

thankfully ive never had that haha. but at least its easy to send back!



now if you want a funny story i got one!

my gf wanted a trophy book of one of her spicy books she liked. so she ordered it without looking at it closer lmao. it was a photo of the book cover glued onto i think a bible? but it came in and she just laughed. so now i tease her when she orders things. but she was able to return it and get her money back and buy the proper book lol.

 

Have you heard of the new graphics cards shipping with a backpack inside instead of the card? Apparently factory sealed. Sounds like it's happening at the factory they're made.

LOL, reminds me of a post I saw once where a guy clearly stated in his "scam" ad that he was selling a picture of the product, not the actual product, and someone who wasn't paying attention bought it anyways.

I dont buy much from Amazon any more unless I cant find it somewhere else.

 

The shipping cost is the big thing for me. Something awhile back was like 180 plus 55 shipping from the manufacturer, or 180 and free shipping from Amazon.

 

Rode the Klx to go sit on bikes today. Sat on
2025 hornet 750, comfortable, looks good, not too big but not small either, standard 5” tft and quick shifter.
2025 gsx8s- felt big didn’t like the looks as much.
2024 mtO7 ,, nope
2024 Gasgas 700, was ok?
2025 crf450rl, seat like a 2x4 nothing special
Rode to another dealer
Sat on a zx4rr , too sporty not for me
2025 mt07, a lot better than the 24 it was ok
2024 xsr900 felt real good , didn’t feel heavy and was comfortable.
Jumped back on the Klx and it was better than all the bikes I sat on. Need to get the SM set up and I think I will be set. Still waiting to hear from the guy. He just got back from Hawaii yesterday.
On also installed the manual cam chain tensioner. Super easy job and easy to adjust. Ran quiet.

 

You do know that anyone can make any store name they want. There is no verification that it is the manufacturer actually.

 

Not same product, but just an example here. If you take a look at the sold by, that's usually a good indication. Can click on it for more information.

Similarly, on Ebay, if someone has an official ebay store front with a few hundred products and 10,000 feedback, I'd say it's prolly legite.

The Shad SH23 cases showed up for Nicole's bike. Should work well for her/us. We will see how they do and if they work well I'll get some for my bike. The width was enough to easily fit a gallon milk jug.

 

Can you put that in beer cans for the rest of us?
