    I friggin' love it!

Even as a 13yr old, I was taken to another place with those lyrics. (Which is the intent)

    Thanks for sharing.

    forgot to mention.

for someone so concerned with audio quality, choosing a 3rd gen tacoma was NOT the right decision. The acoustins in the cabin are quite honestly the worst I have ever experienced due to the shape and speaker placement lol

I would agree that a truck cabin sucks like you said, but it ain't the worst that I heard.

Not for acoustics, but my daughter's Tiguan with the Fender radio is just sad. At any good volume, the stupid subwoofer cuts out the rest of the speakers. Unfortunately, my Taco sounds better with just the Subaru / Kicker mod than hers. Go figure.

Ever wonder why the song Houses of the Holy was on Physical Graffiti and not on the album Houses of the Holy?

The story of the fourth track on Physical Graffiti is a slightly strange one: this song gave its name to the band's fifth album, even though the song itself was dropped from the album...

From the book titled: Led Zeppelin, All The Songs, The story behind every track
    Jean-Michel Guesdon & Philippe Margotin

I am reading through the chapter and can detail more if interested...

Leveling kit 2" , big tires , diamond back bed cover.. pro grill and I removed the center piece from the cup holder...that's about it.
It can be overcome , takes some work... I dunno anyone who bought a tacoma for the sound but once you buy one why not make it better? I mean if you care about that sorta thing .

    Continued

The recordings of "Houses of the Holy" dates back, then, to the April 1972 sessions at Olympic Studios, and the mixing was then carried out at Electric Lady Studios.

Another peculiar fact about "Houses of the Holy" is that, while it seems like a homage to the fans, it was never performed live onstage.

    Production
Keith Harwood clearly had no involvement in this track in 1974, and the version that appeared on the record was probably one mixed by Eddie Kramer in NY in 1972, with no modifications. Its slight similarity to "Dancing Days," which featured on the Houses of the Holy album, may explain why it was shelved at the time. All the same, it would have been a shame if the band had left it to gather dust. "I really fancied putting out a song called "Houses of the Holy" on the album, Jimmy Page later commented.

When I bought Mothership, I wondered why Living Loving Maid was missing, because it’s always played as a double-shot with Heartbreaker. I found out that Jimmy Page’s dislike for the song, triggered its omission from the album.

I love how this thread is about Led Zeppelin now haha

I'll never forget the first I watched The Song Remains the Same. The 5 or so minutes of San Francisco right before Jimmy pulls out the violin bow.. haunts me to this day

That is 100% correct, in fact he was quoted saying that he hated playing that song....something about the timing of it. I never met anyone who didn't love that song.
