Symptoms are consistent with a failed resistor as per the thread @jordi992 linked. If you had a dying fuel pump, it wouldn't rev OK at higher rpms.

Are you running a flooded battery or sealed/AGM? Corrosion there will be worse if the battery is spilling sulfuric acid every now and then.

Yea I'm content with the symptoms and evidence, new part tomorrow, wait and see.

Standard lead acid battery, seems not drippy, but im a dirt road enthusiast, anything is possible.

you guys with all the cool stuff don't have build threads. This is why the coffee meets are important, so we can see the cool stuff done in real life..

as for the install my knees and back was hurting just looking at the video wondering how come there not doing it on a hoist.

The jd fab kit sucks especially having to cut marlin cam tabs off. Hell even the 63’s sucked. What amazes me how out of square and twisted these frames get. Pretty wild.

yep cutting everything off and cleaning up the frame sucked balls. that part was 20 seconds in the video... and the better part of 3 days for me without a plasma cutter or lift. #flapdisklove

best to throw a tundra or LC200 rack in there too while its all apart.

    Thank you @Windigo

Original tire has gone in the farm equipment pile which we give away to farmers in the area when they need a tire for a hay cart or similar

This was a fun 5 day - 10 hours a day project, then we took it to Yota crawl to test it out, and the rest is "How I met your mother" story that we all know/heard! :D

Anything less than 37s is a bicycle tire nowadays... :duh: 40s are the perfect spot... :spending:

Just did both my parking brake cables, 2 months ago.

$168 a cable is what I paid. Has to buy Toyota OEM from the dealer. No one else could get em in my city.
