Sorry for the noob question, I bought “extended lugs” and when I received them they didn’t seem very extended to me. So I bought some from Method directly and they also don’t seem extended. Am I tripping or are these considered extended. They definitely don’t look the same as the photo. Any help would be great thanks. Photos are what I purchased and photos of two different lugs from two different sites. IMG_1662.jpg IMG_1663.jpg

Apparently that is a stock photo on the ad (and the ones in said photo are actually not "extended" in the usual sense, but instead appear to have a longer hex (or spline, as the case may be here).

The actual "extended" part is the small straight threaded section just past the taper that extends further into the lug holes on your wheels for the purpose of better thread engagement on otherwise too-short wheel studs (often happens with thicker-than-normal wheels, or when using slip-on wheel spacer shims).

Thanks for the info, so I shouldn’t have a problem using them on my aftermarket wheels?

Depends on the wheels, but more than likely they'll be fine if the wheels are alloys and the extended part fits in the holes ok (they probably would not work with steel wheels though).

I think those are supposed to be used when using spacers

It all depends on the wheel. Check with the manufacturer if the wheel design allows for an ET style lug nuts as most only allow for a conical nut seat and do not have sufficient space milled into the wheel for the ET portion to fit inside the wheel.

SSW for example blatantly states their wheels do not work with ET style lug nuts.

The ones you have are ET the ones pictures in the stock photo are not.

    Edit****

Quick googling suggests method wheels are ET compatible

Thanks for the info. The lugs and wheels fit just fine. Now I feel like a d**k for having them send another set. Actually ordered another set because I didn’t want to wait so now I have two extra set of lugs
