My friend and I both had Mazda 3s and there was a little pocket in the same spot sans door.

He got drunk and needed his wallet one time (long ago i forget the context now) and muttered something about the Mazda spot and i was ON IT.

On the truck I have my garage door opener heavy duty hook Velcro to the underside of the driver's door cubby.

Unfortunately I think the best miles per gallon I have ever received in my truck was about 260 miles out of one tank.......lol it really sucks when you get 12 miles a gallon on average throughout the year.

Absolutely...... it wasn't My farthest tw express trip, but it definitely was the heaviest. I averaged 10.9 miles per gallon from my home All the way up to Champlain but my truck definitely thanked me afterwards for offloading it and passing it off. I was absolutely loaded with about 1500 pounds of stuff already while also towing a bass boat. mix that in with the hills of almost All of Vermont And you have a recipe of my truck screaming at me lol.

Matrix was the best ~$2500 I've ever spent. Ive put 10k on it so far and I dont even know if I have put 1k on my truck. Made all the projects I have been doing much much easier.

unfortunately since I have a second gen, I don't have the handy dandy miles till Empty meter but I am religious about always using my "trip A" every time I fill up to see how many miles I have left before my yellow light comes on. on average During the summer my low fuel light comes on At about 230 miles and during the winter it goes on at about 182. Being already at gross vehicle weight even if empty + Being a double cab long bed trail limo + 33'S while not regeared on TRD Sport diff's + me being a Fat fuck = Worst MPG ever

Kind of actually been debating and kind of Excited about that new truck Coming out in a couple of years called the slate. completely modular and electric but only two wheel drive But it might be the best bang for the buck Regarding a secondary vehicle. Especially for my commute while still Having a truck. With it being backed by Jeff Bezos...... I'm hoping that the quality and reliability is there.

It is, AWD hatchback that the rear completely folds flat. Great motor in it. You can get FWD too but less common up here

With 215K it still gets 30 mpg with AWD I think thats pretty good.

    Basically a little pickup.

I am waiting to see how that Slate does, it could check alot of boxes and let me keep the runner miles down.

I think when the truck is paid off I'm gonna start saving for a jetta alltrack, they made it with the tdi and the 1.8/2.0t, manual, awd, tons of space for a daily...I've been jonesing lol

I think the toyota compact pickup is actually gonna come to fruition too, could be a good option depending what the do. It'll more than likely be unibody and awd but for a daily that's what you want
