I was preparing for my day like any other, cleaning up after waking up, eating breakfast and psyching myself up for another day. As I open my door with music playing in my ears, I am startled to see the local SWAT team in the midst of serving a warrant. Was I surprised? No, because my neighbors were likely pot-dealers. It was exhilarating to start my day with SWAT maneuvering between cars and greeting me at my door as they were as startled as I was. I'm pretty sure the breach foreman yelled at me to get back inside, which I promptly did and loaded my firearm for my own protection.

    The end.

It's not a poor area so much as it is a bored police force. I live in a college town in a rural area of Eastern Washington. Normal police forces wouldn't waste their times on petty pot dealers, because there are much bigger fish to fry. Not around here...

Even the DEA does busts around here on low-level dealers

Have them come over to my neighborhood.

My neighbors have cars coming for "10-minute visits" all fucking day. Plus we have a lot of people who just walk up and down the street with nothing better to do than deal and collect Welfare.

    I'd love a SWAT sunrise...

Amen to that. I live in Richland, WA, and the cops have really nothing to do. One of my friends is just a pot head, and threw a party that got out of hand and apparently half the police force showed up.

The best part of waking up, is SWAT Team in your lawn!

Sounds about right to me haha!

I bought my gun from one of the SWAT guys in this area and I know they serve a lot of warrants, which is funny, because major crime is not a big problem here... We have a full fledged campus police department along with the city PD, then the Sheriff's department is around pretty often too and of course the state troopers are always fooling around on those highways.

One time I left for a journey, by the time I left Pullman, I saw SIX (6) different police officers with six different people pulled over. That was within 5 minutes of leaving my house!

Other times I see maybe one or two State Troopers on the entire 1.5 hour trip to Spokane.
