Started out as a misfire on cylinder 1 slightly stronger mile at idle, but would only throw a code when traveling 35-40mph in 4th gear. This morning ran low on fuel. Stumbles and runs rough but is terrible under load like when accelerating or on hills. Was initially misfire on cylinder 1 this morning but switched to cylinder 6. I swapped coil packs when it was cylinder 1 a few weeks ago and it didn’t move.
    Changing fuel filter this afternoon
    Any other suggestions?

    Fuel filter didn’t help

Moved plug wires around, it stays at cylinder 6

So it helps someone in the future. It started out as an occasional lope at idle. Then started throwing codes in gear 4 between 35-40mph for a cylinder 1 misfire, no other times and no noticeable miss. Suddenly this morning it’s missing like a mofo, codes for cylinder 1 and 6, can’t get to highway speed and lopes at idle like it wants to cut off…changed fuel filter, checked for vacuum leaks and changed plugs and wires. It had the wrong plugs in it and that fixed the issue entirely

What kind of plugs did it have in there?

Auto light single electrode, one of the wires also had a defect at the boot

I believe the FSM and the sticker under your hood says to use dual grounded plugs. Might want to double check that but a defect at the boot would definitely give you some gremlins. Got it fixed then?

In my hour commute to work with hills and highways she ran like a champ!
