I buy mine from NAPA. They aren't free, but get the better of the two they offer. Takes about a hour per side.

Edit-bought the fancy expensive ones that are offered in the pages here. They didn't last a year and I got no support. NAPA will take care of you and they are the same bearings.

Edit edit: I was told it was my choice of driving in wet places and nothing likes wet places.

EDIT edit edit: Make sure you have a torque wrench that can go to 175 ft/lbs

Thanks, that’s good info. There’s a NAPA nearby.

Get and redo the seals while you are there. Get those from Toyota. Easy insurance.

That's a copout. Are they trying to say that driving in the rain doesn't get your hubs wet? What do they think seals are for? Jeez...the lack of critical thinking.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I hate to be that guy, but there is a large difference between driving in the rain and repeatedly submerging them completely in sediment saturated water.

Submersion in cold water can shrink seals, if only temporary, enough to let some water seep in.

Speaking of a large difference, 35s also wear out everything much quicker unfortunately

Partially why I don't want full front bumper with mounted winch....it is harder on stuff.
Granted I ran the numbers and a full bumper will weigh the same as a small bumper with my hidden receiver.

The difference in weight would be the winch. (67.2#'s)

Lol no buzz kill just stating facts! I love how your truck looks on 35s and would be sad to ever see you go down a size.

front bearings arent too hard. we just used the hub assembly from oreilys. they had quoted us like $600 to do one and we did it for under $100 including buying some tools

I had everything except the 35mm socket and breaker bar needed for the axle nut.

I won't buy your argument for a minute. Ever see how much road grime is on your vehicle after driving in the rain? Tim wasn't 'repeatedly submerging' his in sediment saturated water. The rest of us were submerging in pretty clean water...the only sediment was that which was washing off of our vehicles. I'll argue the f&@king clay was more of a danger to our seals than the streams.

You know I raced for 18 years. We built our cars with 20 year old VW IRS arms. Never changed a bearing or a seal. The mud at many a race never took out a seal, much less the bi-weekly pressure washing.

So no, I won't buy that premise.

If that were the case, the first winter would take out your seals/bearings.

Yeah, but their argument is complete bullshit. And they knew it.
