Hi Everyone, I own a 17 Tacoma V6 Stick, I had gotten in an accident in my truck where the front end was damaged but it was only cosmetic (from what was done at the shop), I got new headlights and a new front bumper, everything else was fine. But since then I have been having random moments when my truck clunks (a little like it is rubbing very briefly), it happens when I am turning right, usually its a sharper turn like near a 90 degree turn and when there is elevation change, like a speed bump or something like that. When it happens its always during those situations, but it is not happening consistently as of now, but its also not rubbing because I did test full steering in both directions and moving. My truck was at 90,000 Miles before the accident and is still around there mileage wise. I have been looking online and the current theory we are going with is that I have worn out bushings and the collision finished them off. But if anyone has any other theories for me to take a look at, I would really appreciate the help. Unfortunately I do not have any videos of the clunking right now (also if it helps, I can feel the feedback for the clunk in the pedals as well).

Do you have a skid plate installed?

Check all your bolts, if you have sliders and other armor check that too.

I got t boned a while back and after the repairs I had the same issue, a clunking sound and feeling at my feet whenever I turned sharply or at an incline.

turned out I had a loose bolt on my skid plate and when I would turn sharply up an incline the plate would shift causing a clunking sound

So its rubbing, I got new wheels and it rubs, but only at the driver side, the passenger side has no rubbing and is fine, I'll bring it to the shop that I got the repairs from to see what can be done
