Sorry I missed this! While that will fit… I don’t particularly like the obscure brand and don’t want to endorse it. I’d personally buy OEM or wait for the B&A to come back in stock

Quick question for you guys. Getting close to my 60K service, do I drain and replace front/rear diff and transfer case or just check level and top off? Also with regards to spark plugs is it a replace or just check? Thanks.

 

I hit 30k a while ago and if my advice means anything I went and did a drain and fill of the front and rear diffs and transfer case. I figured that since I'm already under there I might as well take care of all that.

 

Drain and fill. It's so easy, just do it. I hit 65K and did my maintenance and was not only shocked at how easy it was, but how dirty the diff oil ended up being. And I kid you not, I swear my truck drives so much better now, much smoother.

Same here. Did the diffs, t case and plugs along with the oil change and it feels like it’s a new truck.

 

Still need to do my Tcase and plugs, but haven't really had any issues with either. Hoping to find some time soon before my next long drive

 

Yeah mine were fairly clean…cleaner than I expected with what some people have posted but it did make me feel better having new fluids. The plugs made the biggest difference I feel like…it idles much smoother. Maybe the truck is just knowing I love it!

So Im at 50K and want to change my transmission oil. Do we have recommendations for Colorado? Should I just go to the dealer? I want to make sure the person does it right.

 

At 50k you’re not in any danger. However in your shoes I’d start doing a drain and fill, meaning you drain approximately 1/3 of your trans fluid out and replace it with new fluid, therefore refreshing the overall capacity. I’d do this every 50k as a normal routine. See the original post for some good videos on it.
