I just got my first Tacoma and this is my debut post on the forum. I'm looking to change out the stock tail lights that come on my 4th gen and have been eyeing the Toyota Tacoma NOVA Series Prismatic LED Tail Lights. I was wondering if anyone had reviews about them, specifically on getting them from TacomaBeast.

Wow, those look totally blacked out and sick. Think about all the instagram likes you could get from teenage boys. Bet they might even impress some soccer mom SUV drivers too, or at least get you rear-ended by them.

I’ve had mine for a couple months now. I love them. The fitment is perfect, takes like 5 mins to install and the startup sequence/sequential turn signals make it look much more modern. Now I’m just playing the waiting game until I receive my headlights that I ordered 7 months ago…IMG_2154.jpg

My buddy has these tail lights, or at least the 3rd gen version, on his 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro, and while behind him the other night, I noticed a couple of things. First, they are dim and appear, IMO, to be nowhere near bright enough to be seen easily. Second, the differential between brightness when on/off the brakes is minimal. As such, I found myself looking at the high mount 3rd brake light to see when he was braking. They look cool at the mall, but not sure the functionality is there for day-to-day…er, night-to-night use.

Yup they’re usually Asian made crap with poor quality control and terrible light output. I learned my lesson with the third gen Meso tails

I was going to get the Meso interior map and ceiling lights. Do you think there would be issues with those?

How do the skinnier tires feel? I’ve heard less rolling resistance feels nice with 10.5-11 inch tires

It’s all I’ve known with this truck so feels normal to me. Power feels great and handling is awesome. Turning radius got hurt a little cause of my wheel offset but otherwise no complaints at all. I put the lift and 35’s on with 82 miles on the truck so don’t have much experience in stock form.
