Wanted to revisit this, the 2nd RX came in the other day.
Sure enough, you can link each RX to it's own channel on the TX, but both will operate regardless of the TX channel, and they operate to the programmed settings on each channel. You can-not link two RX's to the same TX channel.
So apparently the protocol operates any RX that happens to be linked to it and is on.
I have both 24th scale crawlers linked up, and it's pretty cool to try and run both simultaneously.

Trying again. Ordered another Panzer, as I had it out of the box to test it when I found the dead remote, and it's a really cool tank. I actually had ordered it by mistake the first time, intending to get a Tiger, but I really prefer the looks of the Panzer. Didn't know it but, after getting hands on, it is definitely the right tank for me.

    Extremely reasonable.

Well after a failure and trail repair to try to make it through the weekend the SCX10 II knuckle said fuck you I'm done.

So naturally the only thing to do was upgrade it.

But now that I am digging into this I am wondering what recommendations people have for shocks? Ideally black and silver since this build is ideally meant to match the first gen (though I wish I had portals and my accent colors on the 1st gen is blue) but whatever.

This was not my color choice but it matches the shocks on the clients rig.

That's why I only buy kits instead of rtr's. I like to pick my own electronics and upgrades.

I'm not wanting to go that deep in the hobby. It's a casual past time at best for me

Well, I feel shocks are a personal preference + the weight of the vehicle + terrain you typically drive = what works best for you.

I like Desert Lizard shocks because they don't leak and are easy to tune. That said I have a set of Dlux shocks in blue I'm going to install on the VRD Carbon and just looking at them and I can tell that the quality on them is leaps above the DLs.

I'll also add that Vanquish shocks look fantastic, run really well, but need constant maintenance and attention in order to be leak free.
