I did mine before the campaign and it wasn't too hard. Buy a new light from a dealer or wherever. I didn't remove the headliner. I just removed the hooks and sort of pealed it back enough to get a hand in there. It's a bit of tight fit, but not impossible. I don't recall exactly what tool I used but I think a socket on an extension might have been the trick. I think I had to order the gasket separately, but I don't recall. Install snug but not over-tight as I think that was the reason they failed in the first place. Mine had one of the bolts partially broken away.

I just installed mine today. Got frustrated after a false start with the dealer wasting 3 hrs to tell me the ring kit was cracked during install, so I just ordered the parts for $80 and installed myself. My light was just slightly leaking before the install of the ring kit.

Recommend: wearing gloves (my 3m UV4000 tube cracked and leaked on my hands), and cutting the nozzle wide enough so you aren't squeezing too hard and get a good bead. Overall it was easy, I made a mess of it because of the leaking tube and my nozzle hole too small but the finishing tool cleans it up. Note the nozzle is included with the trim ring and the mask, so you can buy your own caulking finishing tool and tube of UV4000 for less than the dealer or ebay price (I paid $79 for both kits).
