There is another post on here already about this. It's a longer video and it shows the License Plate of the truck. The plate is out of New Mexico.

A little update, Brandon at ECGS did me a HUGE favour, explained to him my situation, is going to have my diffs shipped out today or tomorrow! :headbang:

In the meantime, I’m driving my dads old ‘10 RAV4 SPORT and no, not the V6. :(

I can honestly say, I really hate driving this thing lol. I hate the lack of power, interior, seating position is akward, even the steering wheel is pencil thin…it’s definitely not a vehicle for me.

Besides that, it’s pretty mint inside and out. Amazing on gas, especially compared to my rig lol!

The size difference is funny lol!

I'm cleaning out my tacoma to sell, kids getting bigger and the dog. anyway purchassed a 09 hyundai Santa Fe, since I love abusing my 03, the interior is so much nicer then the tacoma but its so much smaller though does feel like a rocket in comparison to the tacoma. but so many weird things that it does diffrently.

Added a couple more power options in the bed. 2x USB, 2x cigarette socket. One switch for the power outlets, one for the bed light and one for future use. Master switch on dash with power through a fused underhood relay. Should do the job.

What are you using for the relay under the hood? I’m considering something similar, but in one of the cubbies above the wheel well.

One of the threads on my passenger seat bolts were messed up cause everytime I would thread a bolt into it, it wouldn’t thread past a certain point so I forced it down in there and was able to fully thread it. Hope to never need to take it back out.

I don’t have a pic but two bolts the thread where it would get larger would start to warp so I just it back in there to get it seated

Dug out the old colormatched Satoshi grille

Separated if, scuffed it, and primed it as well.

    upload_2025-6-6_14-30-50.jpg

It’ll shoot both with color when the rain stops.

I’m gonna trim the lip to make it less deep this go round.

It’s gonna be nice to have 3 grille options for this truck.

Little bit of this and that
I need to do this with my factory '08 grille. Been putting it off as I know it'll be a bit of work for the second time. My first attempt at color matching it failed lol.

Changing the look of the interior a bit. Eventually all the silver will be replaced with black.

Also slipped on a TriBar steering wheel cover. A temporary styling add-on until I install the new steering wheel that I ordered.

as much as I like some of the silver highlights I covered a lot with carbon fiber but left some silver to keep the original look. Plus the truck is silver so it matches well. Nice gear console!

Spent last night and today getting the back wall in place and the ground cables put in. Still have a few more things to finish up, but it’s time for a beer and relaxation.

Up next, running the 1/0 and 4ga cables from the battery to the back and the grounds to the frame.

Just your basic automotive type relay. Cheap and do the job. Used in conjunction with an inexpensive Blue Sea fuse block.

www.***************** kit arrived today, installed this afternoon, and it looks great! Now to let it dry and secure bubble-free to the gauges... :proposetoast: 81 years after D-day in the ETO... Reading Construction Line to Frontline: P-38. There was the XP-58, handmade with a pair of Allison 3420 engines for power... (coupled V1710s) that was scrapped as the Lockheed P-61 Black Widow took on the night fighter role... I ordered the "insurance option" with the screen protector kit, just in case I need duplicates. Their kit comes with two screen protector sheets for each application, so I have three sheets in the tube, in case I happen upon a Taco in need somewhere down the road. :yay:
