    Close, but you forgot to divide by 5,250 :)

    HP = Torque * RPM / 5250

    I think the paint is thin on all of them. Got 4 rock chips in my Supersonic Red in the first two days I owned it, < 200 miles. I have put on Weathertech mud flaps and just got front of hood, fenders, and mirrors done with clear bra today. So hopefully that mitigates the worst of it.

    Like you said, the difference is millimeters. Certainly having passenger knees up against cloth/softex would be more comfortable but if rear passenger comfort was your primary concern, you wouldn't be buying a Tacoma. The Tacoma (and all mid-size trucks) are full of packaging compromises. Should Chevy add rear seats to the Corvette to make it family friendly or should they build it for drivers who want a personal car? Could Toyota make a Pro with optional Iso seats? Yes but then those who are willing to pay the premium price wouldn't feel that they were driving a limited production "special" truck.

    Why doesn't Ford make a Ranger Raptor without the more expensive engine? Just like many don't think they need the extra hp/Tq of the hybrid, there would be more Raptor buyers that just want the Raptor "look" if the price was lower. Do the Raptors really need live valve shocks? Why don't they just use collar lifts. Most people think that's all you need to get the "look". You could shave thousands off the price of a Raptor with out those fancy shocks.

    Indeed. The seats in the Pro are a compromise, resulting in less rear legroom.

    For some people, that's acceptable. For others, it may not be. That's why I noted to the person I was replying to that it should be something they look at and consider.

    What I didn't say was anything remotely like this:

    No, what I wrote was agnostic of units of force.

    While dividing by 5252 is correct for ft-lb measure of torque, the figure is 9.5488 if using Nm.

    Just assume ALL paint is thin. They don't care what color it is. They will apply according to weight and cost. I have a 2025 Supersonic red and it's incredibly thin. And as we have seen the silver is so thin some were not even applied to a uniform coat.

    One reason that the Pro is pricier than the Raptor is because it over-indulges on seats that many feel does not enhance overall performance or presence.

    Nothing wrong with sizzle, but seats complete with shocks & manually adjusted schrader valves that renders the rear space unusable should be optional. That way others who want to spend over 60 grand but also want a little more back seat (and maybe shocks they can adjust from inside the truck) don’t get pushed to a Ford dealer instead.

    Start a seat swap thread (akin to the hood scoop swap threads) for those with the extended cab version. They probably wouldn't mind a swap, they do not have rear passengers, and that would keep people out of a Ford.

    Those shock bucket seats are soo kooky. No offense to those who like them. We're all kooks in our own way

    I watched all the Car Care Nut videos before I bought. He really liked the SR5 and the Trailhunter. Came down hard on the Pro which he thought was way over priced just to get some "gimmicks" that he thought served no purpose. And he's a Toyota guy.

    The color and seat pattern don't match. Only viable option is 2025 TRD Pro 4Runner swap.

    I've only seen one '24/25 Tacoma TRD Pro on the road ever (Terra). One of the managers at the local dealer I didn't buy from had a black Pro, which I assume he drives, but I've never seen it on the road. Those "gimmicks" give me a lot of exclusivity, which I was glad to pay for.

    I would get the Trail Hunter if it were me. Seems like a better value
