Quite confusing as there are several that come up and none of them have the bolts exposed like yours and show a Taco at the same time

I see what you mean. Guess they didn't want to spend the time and money taking stock images for every truck they make them for...

3D Printed these little angled spacers to point the radio more at the driver. Unfortunately it makes the faceplate not fit, so instead of forcing it, I'm going to design a replacement.

What's the issue. The OEM Cat will eventually fall apart and fail. A replacement like this will reduce the Ewww.

I, for one, enjoy my lack of check engine light or two-stroke smell.

That one is a 200 cell count metal core cat, so not nearly as much filtering as OEM but still better than no cat and much better flow.

Replaced the starter in my 3.4L 4x4 Tacoma. Timmy's video was the winner in providing the solution to the starter extraction puzzle through the wheel well.

It didn't help that I had a somewhat larger case diameter and length but it made it in there. This is the starter I installed

    https://amzn.to/448hAZO

I bought it last year when the current starter was starting to find its way to its "dead" spot, resisting starting until persuaded by a few gentle hammer blows. Since the problem went to sleep for a while, I had the replacement in my garage inventory. Then the other day it came back and was reluctant to come back to life, so it had to get gone.

Having had this delightful puzzle experience, I took a look at my 3rd Gen 4Runner 3.4 w/TRD headers and holy $hit, the starter is totally caged by the headers. Definitely not looking forward to having to deal with that one! :annoyed:

    Can't lie, feeling pretty shit.

Pulled a vacuum on the AC loop, and it won't hold for love or money. The second I turn off the vacuum pump, the vacuum disappears.

Not sure where to go from here, I triple checked the new O-rings when I installed them, & the evap core was holding pressure when I unpackaged it. Guess I'll pull the evap core to double check for damage, and I suppose if I can't find anything the next step is professional diagnosis.

EDIT: Well, the low side schrader valve was completely gone. At least I found a problem, even if I didn't find all the problems.

Removed these from my project frame swap. Sandblasted and torched out the frozen bushings. Lots of fun. IMG_8373.jpg
