I figure two things to be true:

    1. Yes, it's the ugliest thing about the truck.
    2. Damn, it's a really good looking truck.

I mean, there are so many worse looking trucks out there, and if you gotta nit-pick about that, it kinda says it all right?

@kana6207 In your second pic -- should that adjustment nut on the left be snugged up to the link bar, to maintain the position of that threaded rod?

Agree with you on this, but also wish Toyota would have decided to pass on the fake vents under the headlights and gone more in the direction of how they did the new gen 4Runners:

I dislike the hood on the SR5. I don't like hoods with the sides higher than the center. Decreases visibility when parking in tight spaces and turning. I like hoods that slope down from center to sides.

First on a SEMA 4R, now on a Tundra. Billet trailing arms may soon become available.

Funny, I like the look of the fake vents more than the one without. Lol

I agree about that black plastic piece under the headlights. I think makes for an "I'm crying" look.
I put overlays on mine to create more of a vent look and break up the black.

I think one of the ugliest things is the unfinished area under the rear window at the back exterior of the cab. A piece of plastic could have done a lot to cover up those exposed spot welds.

Valid point. I had an '18 sport with the center hood skewp, and i thought it looked great. Only thing was that, no matter where i ducked or adjusted my gaze, it would always seem to reflect the sunlight directly into my eyes :anonymous:

Skunk tail rear quarter panel lines are not appealing to me.

The discussion begins at 3:00 minute mark regarding the trailing arm.

I had a 2024 Limited for a loaner and loved how it handled. No off-roading for me but this guy does some great comparisons.

Use black spray paint on the silver bolts, to give them the black-out look. Visually, it helps a little.

    No to the OP's question,
I think stock oem factory trailing arm looks 20X better than a factory oem leaf spring on the previous gen which is what you would see instead....
    Common sense, Just saying,

I really hate the location of the spare tire. I hate that it hangs down so low, but I can get over that since it was done for more bed space. What I can't get over is that it's not centered... the off center drives me crazy every time I look at the back of my truck.

    Ide agree with you there...
Me personally would remove it if I was willing to store it which im not!
I will NEVER use it, I promise you that....
I havent touched a spare tire in the 36 years ive had my license.
Ide rather get picked up & go home, & have truck towed to the shop than swap-out a spare on the freeway.

I removed mine for a bigger full size spare in the bed. I swear it cost me a solid 1 mpg. I will be trying to see if i can get it to fit this weekend. but i have a feeling it will look like crap.

Agree 100%. The off-centered-ness is just a twist of the knife.
