Here's how I've mowed for the past 10 years.
Built from a Honda mower. Uses a 1 wire alt to power the mobility scooter motors via battery. Uses a Dimension Engineering Sabertooth controller, setup for tank mode. R/C unit is a Futaba 3ch surface controller.
Easily climbs 30° inclines.

Got a number of things tested, but haven't found the issue yet. Neutral Safety Switch checks out ok. Found all the secrets to removing the "Rear Bonnet" and was able to then check the Ignition Switch (Ok), and the Starter Relay (Ok). Just to be sure, I swapped the Engine Relay with the Starter Relay (since they are the same part) but no dice. Voltage at the Ignition Switch checks OK. Still need to check voltage at the Starter Relay socket, and check the PTO Safety Switch. If I eliminate those then I think I'm probably down to Bad Starter.

I have learned some valuable lessons.. Always park the tractor where you would like to work on it before shutting it off. Like in the shop or under the branches of a cool tree with a breeze. Also probably a good idea to always remove the Loader (not just the bucket) so it's not in the way when you're working on it. And don't forget to remove any heavy attachments on the rear.. like a Stump Grinder. Is my frustration showing through yet??

SOLVED

I stumbled upon this video a few minutes ago. PTO Safety Switch was on my "tomorrow" list, mainly because I wasn't sure where the Switch was. It's kinda buried behind the lever, and I missed it.
Anyway, I saw this video and ran out and tried it and..
So tomorrow I have to put all the dashboard stuff back together. But I'll sleep better tonight . . .

YouTube is great for a lot of that. I was trying to figure out some wiring earlier today and watched a couple videos it helped alot
