Ignore my disaster of a gun room

Wife decided she needed a bolt gun instead of a gas gun...which is fine

Picked up a Ruger Precision in 6.5...now to figure out which scope

nice! I haven't tried a 450 yet. I tried an AR in .50 Beowulf and holy crap it really surprised me. When you are so used to a particular weapon system then all of the sudden it hits so much harder hahaha
This was with a family member who just started getting into it and I kept telling him to start with a standard 556. But no, he had to get a few others before settling down a little. I think he has a .224 Valkyrie too.

I bet. I saw some pics of a big bull elk taken with 450 out of a short AR in the thick woods.

I e hunted the last couple of years with an aR10 in 308. Great rifle but heavy about 15 pounds all set up. This year me is light around 8 pounds so much easier to carry in the mtns

    bolt action?
I've always used a bolt action, or muzzleloader, and once a 12g with slugs. Which, by the way was way overkill for a blacktail. But it was a shotgun or handgun only area.

AR10 just an over sized ar15 chambered in 308. I use a Browning Abolt in 308 bolt action or a 270. The 450 is built as an AR15 platform

Yes Sir, I’ve considered building another in 243 or 6.5 but think I’ve only got about 1 more assembly project in me.

I have the second link,,, it looks identical anyways, mine is a Savior brand. It has held up well. The pockets and all the straps are bulky. On both Savior rifle bags I have, I disconnected and/or cut off some of the straps. I like them for what they are, but rarely use them, as I downsized to single rifle bags, I like those much more.
