Past time, 160 lbs of Boerboel. Her and our 1st granddaughter were inseparable. Glued to each other. We much love the mastiff group.

 

My daughter had a Cane Corso (aka Italian Mastiff) and what a great dog.

How old is your Mal? Ours is almost 5 and gray in the face.
this is just after a tooth extraction.
PSA not sure what she cracked the tooth on but it's not cheap to extract.

 

Someone loves to get in his crate. He was looking for his ball which went behind his crate. He always waits to be released from his crate.

 

It could be worse. While on a walk in the forest mine found a pile of bear shit and decided to roll in it.

 

mine just sniffs it and looks for the bear. Every time I ask her where's the bear? This way we don't get a surprise.

Up above I posted my little black lab Oakley. I did not mention my buddy Cooper. Coop sadly had to unexpectedly cross the rainbow bridge about a month ago. He was 9 years old. He suffered a seizure in the middle of the night (1st ever) and wasn’t the same afterwards. We closely kept an eye on him from the Saturday night when it occurred until the next Thursday when we decided to make our sad and difficult decision. We miss you Coop-a-loop

 

RIP sweet Coop.

Hearing the seizure story scares me. A little over a month ago, it sounded like Kimo hit the floor. I went over to where he was lying and he was trying to get up. But not having much luck. Trapped between his bed and the floor. I did get him up and he seemed ok. To make a long story shorter, he had some blood work and the results came back normal. He’s been good tho I have eliminated a lot of the things that can cause seizures. Like edible flea and tick meds, some vaccines, etc.

We take for granted these things are safe for our dogs and you just never know.

 

I never give my dogs anything but their rabbis vaccine. Prescribed meds too if sick. Is it possible he just fell off his bed?
