    Hey everyone,

    New member here from sometimes sunny CA. Just found a BONE STOCK (and I mean it) :) '99 SR5 XtraCab V6 stick, with, get this, only 39500 original miles from the original owner... Couldn't pass it up. I've always loved these trucks and I hope to have this one for a long time. It's like a blank canvas when I see all the possible mods out here. The only thing wrong so far is the clearcoat is peeling on the roof, but I should be able to take care of that myself. The stock wheels could use a new coat of silver as well. No rash, just faded a bit. Now I'll be selling my '09 Ram 1500 Hemi with only 7100 miles, so if you know anyone... :D

    I'll post pics later today after I wash it. Looking forward to learning about good mods, and DIY maintenance (fluid changes to start) from the brains on this forum!

    welcome!!! i managed to find a stock 97 with 120k .. yes its a t100 but has a lot of similarites to the taco's so i kick it here .... great community around here and we have a lot of nor cal members.

    so far ive tinted the windows, clear bumper lenses, and added in my system ... plan on some tundra rims once my stocks wear out cause hubcaps suck lol

    As promised, here are a couple pics. Pretty boring compared with what you guys have done with your trucks. Had a good day though. Painted the wheels (didn't come out like I'd hoped), and changed the tranny and transfer case fluid with RP. The existing fluid was pretty clean. I MIGHT be noticing a bit smoother shifting - especially into 1st. Maybe it's my imagination...
