Anyone know a good shop or solo mechanic in southeast WY/northern CO? Had a hell of a time finding someone who can actually diagnose and repair things, and seems like every shop I've tried (5 and counting ) are so focused on getting cars in and out fast that they don't actually take time to diagnose correctly, repair fully, or test their work—ranging from super simple stuff to more Taco-specific quirks.

Have been able to do some DIY in the driveway, but don't have the room or tools for more involved work right now, so appreciate your reccs if you know someone good!

What kind of things are you trying to diagnose/repair?
Norther Colorado might have some shops. I think I've seen houska and loveland 4WP recommended at times.

Thanks, not familiar with loveland 4WP so will look them up. No mystery issues that I need diag right now, but some potential work coming up (upper ball joints, rear shocks) and want to take it somewhere good for that and any other work.

It's been a range of things in the past - most recent was 4 tries and 2 shops just to get the power steering pump replaced which should not be some big-deal complicated thing. Misdiagnosed, then put in bad reman part, then put in another bad reman part and leaking lines, replaced steering rack, pump still leaking, finally put in 3rd pump new and it's good now. But damn. Had clutch replaced few years back and have had a chirp ever since - 3-4 new TOBs, different clutch, new fork, tons of trips back and fourth - still driving with crickets. So it's stuff like that which IMO really shouldn't take some Taco specialist to handle but maybe I'm wrong on that and need someone way more familiar with these trucks to get things right the first time.
