Just want to make sure you guys dont' miss out on anything!

But my phone has the dumb and for some reason when I go to Idaho I get 1 bar of "extended network" whatever that means. Could barely send a text most of the trip. SO I got to go to Verizon sometime this week and ask WTF is up with that.

I do have pics. And moron reports. I will share them throughout the week so buckle up!

 

Started out in Yellowstone


Then moseyed on over to Craters of the moon

Then up to hang with the rich people in Sun Valley. Found this cool Botanical Garden place right off the highway so I stopped there to wander around and stretch my legs

Then a night somewhere in between Sun Valley and Stanley

Steep steep drive up and over the pass on the way to Stanley.
The dirt road on the back left leads to the headwaters of the Salmon River.

then I got up to Redfish Lake outside of Stanley

Then Stanley Lake

back to Redfish, different camp

then started making my way home or at least back to MT. There used to be a dam and hydroelectric plant on the Salmon River that used to provide power to the gold dredges in the area

and a CCC built bath house thing at a natural hot springs along the way

more of the Salmon River canyon. Long ass drive

and back to MT and one of my favorite camping and fishing areas but no pics because Ive been there before

 

It was nice! First spring getaway trip that I didn't get snowed on or rained on for multiple days. But I coulda used a little rain - my allergies are not happy with me and I just wanted a 15 minute storm to clean the air but that didn't happen.
