Seriously? It shouldn't take that long to figure out where the problem is, especially for an "electrical mechanic".

They are probably out seeing if the snorkel has anything to do with it. :mudding:

Yea idk.. I know they were working on it all day yesterday. I was the first appointment yesterday morning and it's the same mechanic working on it all day today.
I started thinking about all the things I have done to it that they might be able to blame it on, and I don't think anything could have done this.
Now I'm wondering what's going to happen.. If they will just replace a ton of stuff ( and in that case, can I talk them into giving me a locking diff?)
Will they decide they can't figure out a problem and have to replace the truck? And in that case would I be able to swap all my mods over to the new one?
Will they just try replacing stuff and then give it back to me and not actually fix it? And then someday down the road have a problem and maybe be out of warranty?
Will they just blame it on me and try to charge me a fortune for it?
I'm like a worried parent that has a child in the hospital and the doctors don't know what's wrong.
My dad sells Mac tools and the Toyota dealership is one of his stops, so the mechanics all know him and know my truck, so I feel like it should be in good hands, but I'm still worried.

Now they said they think it's the 4wd actuator.. Hmm that sounds familiar..

Yea I'll be there for the weekend.. but without my truck.
And I still have absolutely no idea what youre talking about with "spare tire removal tools"

    Update on my truck:
They decided the 4wd actuator needs to be replaced, so they ordered it and it wont be here till monday. If I'm lucky my truck will be ready by the end of the day wednesday. :(
Then I need to take it to sears to get my 5th tire mounted and my alignment done.
I'm getting really sick of my truck being in the shop.

larry? north carolina larry? nope.. havent been down that way, havent pm'd him, havent talked to him, havent heard anything about tools for sale.
only things i've bought for my truck recently are tires, sliders, and tire deflators

and why would i buy spare tire removal tools when i already have the ones that came with my truck?
