Ok, so I decided to run the AC in my rig. I got nothing, no fan motor on any function and no AC. I decided to pull over , kill the engine and shut off the master switch. This sometimes can correct computer malfunctions for the moment until I can write it up. But nooooo. When I turned it back on my truck ran really bad. I waited awhile and started it up and it was ok. Took back to the yard and here I wait.
Turns out a remote diagnostic can be done and I had a really low exhaust temp.

 

Time to go electric?

 

You know that shit will break in new and different ways that require a special mechanic and software tech right?

 

can't be any worse than his current heap.... At least it's new

 

at least his current maintenance staff has a clue how to fix the current heap
+ parts are available . . . .

all that proprietary crap, is a hunk o junk as soon as the littlest bit of plastic breaks and throws it into limp mode or worse

 

We'll see......

 

but we probably won't b/c that is probly a prototype that won't even make it out the gate

 

He should demand the new 520 ZR then
