Probably 3/4". I want to pull the coilover and truly trim from bump stop at full compression to full droop.

Be careful offroad, when aired down, tire will flex. Might want to look into some new aftermarket rims. Good luck with your truck.

Whats your wheel specs? I have the same wheels but in 16s -12 offset with a 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers. So if im correct pretty much puts me or verly close to your wheel specs? Correct me if I'm wrong. I think 17s come in -30 offset? Im going to need new tires pretty soon, thinking of upgrading to 295/75r16. Im currently at 265/75r16. Did you need a CMC? Are you rubbing on regular driving?

And will more than likely require a cmc or cmr, along with trimming, and even pinch weld fold(if you offroad) if it's anything close to the -38 offset @Montanabc
That's why I've been putting my install off for so long. Ha. Got these 4months ago. Got the lift, just need to commit and make the appt for cmr and final fitment adjustments after that..

If you find someone in the valley for the mods that does clean work let me know. Most every place I've called has turned me away.

Copy that! Two places I have in mind are Jax motorsports, and aztoypros. Haven't contacted them yet. One guy I know got their cmc done at jax and it's the best/cleanest looking cmc I've ever seen. Idk if they do full cmr's tho.
Edit: Oh, and another is 454 motorsports. Drt fab referred me to them for the cmr (but again I haven't contacted any).

I'm late to the party on this but not much was noted. Do it once and be done don't end up like some on here that go through 3 stages on cmc's as the changed offset or tire size.

I got these installed this week finally and have a couple hundred miles on it.
1.5" headstrong aal in the rear and 2" rough country coilover in the front.

I began to cut plastic in preparation to hammer the pinch weld before i fit the tires. They currently do not rub anywhere street driving. Plenty of room to the cab mount as well. I am going to get an alignment this afternoon and see if that changes. No plans to offroad the truck. In regards to street driving the last couple days and "flexing" up and down and retaining wall, ZERO rub. I think the +4 offset is the key. I have about 3/8" of clearance to the factory UCA at full lock and somewhat stuffed.
Side note, truck drives fine but i went from 22.5mpg to 17.5mpg on my 90/10 commute to work. Being a stock truck without added weight helps, but it seems to have plenty of power. I also went with a comparably lightweight wheel/tire package compared to others. 22.5lbs/wheel and 63.5lbs/tire. I may do an OT tune, but still plan on getting a regear still. 5.29s may be too aggressive at highway rpms. When i leave the truck in S5, it will get 17mpg. When i leave the truck in drive and let it gear hunt between 5th and 6th it will get 18mpg.
I'll get some pictures once the rain stops and report back after an alignment

I also regret not going to 315/75/16s. Going 1" taller and 1" wider would fill out much better. With a tubular UCA, the 315s would probably clear.

You have to watch the offset on other areas besides the uca such as the frame. I thought -12 was the sweet spot for a 315 to not hit the frame at full lock.

Good call out. I'm assuming you rubbed 315s on the frame with -12?

Also, getting slight scrub after the alignment. I want to borrow someone's 315 locally and trim/CMC for that.

You got anymore photos or trimming info on the 315 KO3?

I feel like the 285 ko3 looks small. I’d want to upsize to a 295 minimum

I was considering 315's for a long time, did a bunch of digging ended up deciding it wasn't the route I wanted to go. My next size will be a 285/75r17 lighter for drivability without re gearing with a bit taller height. Doesn't help your 16's but I wouldn't want a heavier tire than I have currently especially if the truck is dailied. Just noticed your on bfg's that will help your fitment drastically as they have been measured quite small when compared to other brands.

That is the only reason i would have considering 315/75r16s. They only measure to a 34.4" tall tire. Some 285/75r17s are almost that tall. Your geolandar MTs have a nice tall AND wide profile which look really good.
On second thought, i would not run 315s on these 16x7 wheels. even with 295s, there is significant bulge from an 11.6" wide tire on a 7" wide wheel.

These are 295s. I don't have anything on the 315s but yes, i believe 285s would look too small

Yeah 7" is definitely on the narrow side for a 295 much less a 315. My 295's are on a 17x9 and I have been getting a great tread wear pattern even with the MT's. That wide wheel helps the width look id imagine allowing the sidewall to be more vertical as opposed to bulged. Still havnt popped a bead on a trail day, hopping to keep that going.

Wow! Looks real good! You got any more front/back photos? Trying to get a feel for how wide they look on the truck.
