Got the JB weld body work on the fender. Now just wait for it to cure, sand then it will be ready to powder coat.

Wanna really be pissed.... I just spent more on a set of mountain bike tires by a good chunk than I ever have for my full size dirtbike. Lolol

Dude....DUDE. I have never struggled with a tire more than a freaking rear grom tire. Stupid street tires that are small diameter and wide.

Hey guys! Been MIA for a while - just wanted to check in and give a quick update!

Super Tenere still going strong - it's just over 36k miles. I've been meaning to do the steering stem stuff but have been swamped with other stuff.

RC390 has had some growing pains for my second season of track riding. I low sided it at Sonoma in April but came away with relatively little damage and no injuries thankfully, then yesterday the pushrod for the rear master cylinder came loose and fell out, letting the rear brake pedal droop down and I bent it in a corner and that ended my day. I have another track day on the 23rd at Laguna I'm really hoping I can make it out to.

I also bought a cheap Ford Econoline for $2600 to make into a moto van. It's been a lot of work but I was finally able to use it this past weekend and it was awesome!

Today was the second time I had to go somewhere for work and swung by the house to drop the Taco off and take the bike instead. Which means I was riding on the clock, which means I was getting paid to ride. Therefore, I am a professional rider. Got pulled for a random, so just rode to the clinic to pee in a cup, but still.

I love when something relatively small needs picked up or dropped off for my work. Best ever was a 400+ mile trip on the clock plus mileage for using my own vehicle. They bought me a new pair of tires for one ride.

Lol right. Previous job had a "remote" location about 10mi away from the main campus. On days that I had work at the remote location and could get in the top box on the moto, you knew absolutely I was riding the moto.

Something about riding a moto while getting paid is top tier bliss.

Best part was, the remote location was right at the start of the world class Twisties of the Malibu Hills.... So OF COURSE I took the long way home.

Took it out to explore for a few today. Had to come back after the allergies began kicking my ass. Anyone have a work-around? I already take a prescribed allergy medication, + nasal spray. Maybe I should hit the nasal spray a bit before heading out?

Have you tried just not being allergic?

Hepa filter sealed helmet would be cool

    Hahaha

Unfortunately, I’m allergic to every tree, plant, and grass in CO.

I’m looking at face masks I can wear under the helmet with filters

    Neti Pot. Hands down.

It sucks when doing it as it feels like you are drowning, but you get used to it and it easy and quick to do with some clean drinking water (not tap) and salt.

I was gonna suggest neti pot, too. I've always gotten away with tap water with no issues, but I know it's not recommended. And of course the salt (I use the pre packaged ones). My allergy pills work for me, but back in the day when I road my ATV all the time, I was fine while riding, it was whenever I stopped at the end of the day that sucked. Woulda been perfect time to use the neti pot!

What kind you using that you feel like drowning? I just use the genie lamp looking one with zero issue. Barely even feel it usually.

Whats killing you? For me it's typically my eyes, so I will put in eye drops before a really bad allergy day ride. In addition to the nightly meds and morning nose spray, those seem to keep my nose and sneezing in check, usually.

Honestly, I eat a tablespoon or two of local honey a day. They say it helps because it is made from the pollen of the local plants. This is the first year I have tried it, I can say so far it seems to help.
