    Insulation from Lowes: K-Flex 1/2-in x 4-ft Rubber Pipe wrap insulation for 3/4-in Pipe. I had some left over from insulating my home AC unit otherwise I would have used 1/2" ID insulation.
    Tape from Amazon: Red Wolf high temp fabric tape. 5 rolls for $11. I only needed 1 roll.

    My SPC ball joints are due for replacement at just under 79k miles. I'll do it this time, but if they sh!t the bed at low-ish mileage again, I'm getting JBAs.

    If you want to get the Chrome off any parts the easiest/best way to do it is to use ZEP degreaser. For the grill, get a garbage bag pour the ZEP in. Put the grill in so that the chrome is submerged. Let it sit 15 min. Take it out and boom all the chrome is gone

    Installed some spacers to give my 285s a bit more clearance and hammered my pinch welds... photos was mid-hammer, got them pretty well flat. I still need to reform one of the liners that scrapes a tiny bit at certain angles under flex, but overall my rubbing is gone. Doesn't even hit the cab mount after the ~2" of lift.

    And I know most folks are anti when it comes to spacer lifts, but I don't wheel this truck (no place to really do it). I'll swap the coilovers when they finally wear out as my truck only has 50k miles on a '12--benefits of living on a small island, lol. Also, all the hardware is in really good shape given the lower mileage. Body, not so much...

    I just got a quote from ECGS for a front and rear gear change, no lockers and I take it to them to do the work. $2900.

    @TegoTaco

    Put a 3rd gen 8.75” axle assembly in it next time. They are a lot stronger than the 2nd gen diffs. It’s a direct swap, and you can buy one with a factory locker too.
