At this point, it's my friends that are keeping me in the game.

 

Working the Golf U.S. Open this week in Pittsburgh. Pretty cool to see the cup up close.

 

I've been getting one lately..higher pitched, not drone-y. My tires are going as well, Cooper AT3 getting super loud, but the buzz is a level up. No idea what it is. People see me slapping shit around my dash probably think I'm tweaking.

 

Pretty cool seeing the engraver get to work after the final putt is sunk.

 

I got to stop by the Brunei’s Canton and Jump Creek for work this week. It’s pretty cool how you can go right from desert up to lush temperate rainforests in a day on this state.

 

Replacement Nissan transmission is in, largely thanks to the neighbors 17 year old kid he really saved my butt with getting the transmission lined up from underneath
I'm a bit concerned by the amount of metal shavings we found on the sensors and the magnetic donuts in the bottom of the pan. The CVT fluid was pretty dark too. I am waiting on CV Axle seals before everything can go all the way back together but so far I only have four 10mm bolts to consider as weight reduction

 

Nissan CVTs are good for 30k mi... Sometimes upto 60k if drive very cautiously. Anything over 30k though is extra innings.

 

We hit 136k with the original trans before it started giving us issues.

I got impatient and decided not to wait for the CV axle seals. It's buttoned back up (except for 3 leftover 10mm bolts) but still on jack stands so I could go through the gears to make sure the fluid was circulating and topped of properly.

first impressions it seems to be functional but I have no speedo, the Brake and ABS lights are also on

I reused all the original sensors from the transmission we took out so I would imagine the computer wouldn't need flashed but I could be wrong. I'll get it off the jack stands and see how it drives after getting some sleep
