oh for sure the Methods would be heavy. They remind me of FN wheels which look pretty nice

I get why people like OEM. They are light and strong, good quality wheel right out of the gate

I was able to change from a fuel wheel at 29lbs to a ssw at 23lbs and swap from a 285 to a 295 with 0 change in drivability if anything it may have gotten better. It's just funny how you see everyone complain about tire weight but never consider wheel weight aswell. The comment on checking weight was directed to op incase it came across wrong.

Love the simple, clean look of Work wheels, but the price (~$495/wheel) seems a little ridiculous for cast wheels. My vote is go with something different. Like other's have said, everyone seems to run TRD Pro, Method, Fuel, etc...

If you like clean, timeless designs, check out FN, ModCo, or Circuit wheels.

FYI - Circuit wheels are flow-formed (aka spun-forged) for $190-$215/wheel.... and they weigh in around 21-22 lbs! You get the Work/Rays look and light weight construction without the price tag.

I’ve been in this quandary too.
I like the look of a 16 vs 17 but know there’s more options with the 17.

Also I don’t want to cause running by not getting the right offset & backspacing.
I’m still on the oem with 255/85/16 and would rather stay tall/skinny.

I was leaning towards methods for the bead grip but like some others better, the SCs are nice these 1552 are interesting.

I’ve heard black rhino are really heavy and too intricate a design to keep clean. Not a fan of fuel, xd, kmc, rrw or the fake beadlock look.

They look great on the bronco, don’t know about a taco.

Yeah i'm glad you brought the weight piece up... something worth considering. Didn't realize how heavy the methods are.

They are a super strong race bred wheel company unfortunately strong and light do not easily go together. Then Volk and a whole new price point enter the conversation.

I should have bought a bronze set back when they were $172.00 a piece. Those are a consistently good looking wheel.

Looks like TRD pro wheels are in the lead. I would like to try the 16" version but my current rims are 17", so that means new tires. If anyone is near Denver and interested in 265/70/17 Wildpeak AT4Ws with less than 10k miles, or the black 705 rims, let me know.

Also cool to see Titanium 705s in 3rd place. Tough to choose between those and the TRD pro wheels, but the options are getting narrowed down. Appreciate the responses and comments.

I like the pro wheels but if they didn’t come on it from factory I would go aftermarket.

I am a fan of the black wheels.

Not a fan of the Method's. I've got the black satin TRDs, but voted silver for yours...
