Speedo is off the front wheel I thought I heard? Never liked into it what sensor as there's no ABS.

It’s an electronic pickup so not sure why it would be so far off. I will have to look into it more. Only thing I could think of is the gear indicator is run inline of that cable. Maybe if I reset the gear indicator it might fix it? Or I will try unplugging the gear indicator and see what that does. :notsure:

Believe there's a separate part number between the SM and DS, which version is on the SM wheels you got? After that I'd expect the ECM / speedo to throw an error if it got a different input than expected if anything.

Well that made no difference. With the Healtech I will be able to dial it in perfect.

Resolved. Another gaff from the prior owner. The bar insert was installed backwards.

took a long magnet but issue resolved

Next is oil change, deciding between amsoil or something a little more inexpensive

Looking up parts the 2023 and 2024 have different speed sensor part numbers.
    2024- 21176-1198 DS and SM
    2023- 21176-0757 DS and SM
So maybe there is a difference in calibration? Healtech will fix it. There is no error code just reading fast.

It could be like the drz. Well minus the fact the drz was an old school setup there was a difference between my s set and my sm setup pickups to track speed.

Got some parts I've been wanting for awhile. Bike came with the tail rack, I thought it just made it too long looking and wasn't very useful. Ordered the parts to go back to a more stock configuration, and it looks so much better

Welp about an hour before I got off it poured. Then the two late trucks showed up. By the time we left the roads for the most part were dry:bananadance:.
Riding to work again today. Fueled up on the way home last night and got 39.76 mpg, not too bad for a 41 year old motorcycle.

ive got one for the tracer. we have been looking into one for her xr so she can store he stuff for work and not wear the backpack. she likes the idea of a milk crate but the top case and getting a quick release setup would be really nice so we dont have to unbolt it every time we go dirtbike stuffs.

I thought it was a fancy scooter based on that photo.

Interesting looking machine. 670cc DCT. 25.6 seat height. That's nearly 2 inches lower than my wife's Rebel 1100!

I saw that on a YT vid the other day(I think). It was about bikes that dealers just couldn't sell. If it's the same bike I'm thinking about, they said it just didn't resonate with people b/c it couldn't figure out what kind of bike it wanted to be. They also talked about how angular it was so that threw off the older riders and the younger ones didn't want a cruiser/bagger type bike.
