non-AI Story time: Longest date (current wife)

Showed up at her house around 9am. It was tamale time. She was making them as a fundraiser for the boys' football team.
I think there was 100lbs masa, lots of pots, and a lot of family throughout the day/night/day.
Several sisters showed up initially to help prepare the pre-made masa. Meat was cooking, I was cutting cheese (literally) I was eventually tasked with removing the seeds from the chile pods.
Various members of extended family showed up over the ensuing hours. Somehow I (who can barely remember my own name) was supposed to remember all these people

Sometime around midnight the first day I was sent to find corn husks. Send the white boy to stores at midnight. Vons eventually had some. Upon my return, I decided I needed to remove my contact. PAy attention to the above mention of chile pods. Needless to say, removal was a thing I had never experienced before. Only to be outdone by insertion the next morning.

At some point in the early dawn hours, I was sent to the couch for a nap. People started showing up again around 7.

By the end of the second day, we had made 110 dozen, and demand still exceeded supply at distribution.

This was likely the 3rd date we "went on"
