Creative. Lmk if you want to actually try it. I could just print it as 1pc with a dissolvable support. It would take a little more work to get it 100% air tight but it's doable.

 

Sweeet. You have an industrial printer or something? The center flange has a 2mm double sided cut for a square edge o-ring

 

Personally no but I have worked in the industry for quite a while and have access to world class machines. Not really worried about the flange. It could be omitted entirely, we have stuff big enough to print that in 1pc. The main problem is that FDM parts are inherently porous. There are some tricks with manipulating the print toolpath to make them a bit more solid. There are also some post process techniques that work well. I have printed a few intakes over the years.

Not 3d printed but I've already designed an adapter for the holley efi plenum.

My turbo works great. My ECU and trans. are not as happy.

 

Two of the biggest issues on these trucks. Anyone made a W series adapter yet?

 

Why would you want a W series? Those are "low power" 4 banger transmissions. R series tho...

 

Better ratios? I've seen them used frequently on drift cars with 1U swaps. R's are dogs too so...

 

Suppose it depends on what you're doing, don't need much trans strength when there's no traction. 1UZ without forced induction is just a cosplay V8 noise maker anyway R's are pretty strong OOTB and the supra support gives them a nice cache of additional performance parts.

 

Mine has a T56, buuuut, I put too much power through it, when the engine mounts were OEM rubber, and the trans was poly. Did not like.
