I just want the Chrome bezel painted black and a clear lense to match the tails. Unfortunately, seems not a lot of options for custom headlights. CW makes some fancy stuff but the idk if they use Factory headlights or not. Price is steep too after the sale runs out.

Factory LED Headlights are the best or I'd get a different set.

Woohoo - I finally have a more substantial update! I got inspired by this thread to get an AA/Carplay piggyback system for my truck as well as a front camera. Still plenty of troubleshooting and cable management do be done, but it's a step in the right direction for me towards making this a nicer daily.

These lights look really nice; I like the way the DRLs go all the way around. Would these fit on my 2016?

That's a fine looking truck. Mostly because it looks a lot like mine!

Don’t the OEM pros have black instead of chrome?
Have you seen the morimoto evos? Crashnburns review isn’t out yet but those lights are shaping up to be the leader of the pack by all other accounts, including the engineer that designed them (yoshi). They have all of the style-not-substance features people drool over too
You can install those lights on your 2016, but you will need a conversion harness. A user here named puppypunter can help you out if you are ready to pony up for the OEM LEDs

I added LED turn signals on rear. That seems to me the most important. Had to add resistors to avoid hyperflash. Also, make sure you test the blinkers, not the hazard lights (which never hyperflash).

Mine were 30 ohm and work fine. Might even be able to get higher ratings, and I should've tested that. They get a little hot to touch after being on a while, but not hot enough to melt plastic. So I heat-taped them onto the backs of my lights on a little shelf so they won't bounce off.

Maybe the pros door, however mine were factory on my TRD OR. I believe they were an option.

I'll keep an eye out for them, I've read that all the aftermarket options are downgrades in comparison to the OEM set in terms of lighting etc.

Yea that was the case until the XB evos came out and that is why I mentioned it. Look into them, especially if you were already set to spend money on custom. They have been discussed in the sticked lighting thread by cranshnburn, despite his review not being out yet, have their own thread and look extremely promising in terms of performance. I respect your distrust of aftermarket! Usually people have to be persuaded the other direction and told to avoid optically unfocused garbage lol

Just trying to let you know your options. If you insist on OEM you can just get the pros for black out without needing custom.
    Best of luck

Well.. for one of the first times ever I have uninstalled a mod. I just couldn't handle the noise from those hangers on my DD. I never realized I spent so much time at low RPM until I threw those on. Reinstalled the stock hangers last night and all my noise went away. On this application the urethane hangers look great but absolutely do not sound great.

In about one hour, installed the drivers side front Dorman Body Mount. I'll need to test it out later today.

Got my VTAILS. This the first mod everyone should do. Toyota should have done it this way from the start.

With the 20% sale at VELDS, it's a no brainer. Best $160 I ever spent on my truck.

Taillight LEDs was my first mod, too. But I used a different brand. No hyperflash! Oh wait, when the headlights were on, I got hyperflash. Weird, so I had to add resistors.

Resistors came with the kit. I installed them right away. I had no issues at all.
