The weekend has begun!

 

Packed and ready for a different adventure. Working in Boulder Junction most of the day tomorrow on bikes then back to White Cap for the night. Going to be GLAMPING in rare form as I can sleep in my work trailer (it has two full size beds!) Glad for it too as it is supposed to rain in typical TW fashion. Working with WC4WD all day Saturday plus half of Sunday. Communication with this group has been a bit sketchy so have no idea what to expect. Hoping the trails we are making are as good as the terrain I have seen available up there. Pictures and report when I get back.

 

Just pulled into tonights camp at McCarthy, Ak., near Wrangell-St Elias Nat'l Park.

My son has been 'off' since school got out. (changes)
His old Middle School teacher comes and gets him a few times a month to go bum around town and hang out.
He really enjoys the time out but she is horrible about coming on the days she says. Tuesday she cancelled and that's what triggered him into McAsshole status.
I don't know all autism, only 1 case. In his case if you make a date.....you keep it.
Being she's a special needs teacher I like to think she is aware of the reactions caused by her actions.

Anyhow. He doesn't want to come with to the truck park. Too far away. Worried he won't be back for whatever it is he thinks he needs to get back for....
I told him to think about it today and see if he changes his mind.....
If he still isn't interested, Maybe I'll swing over tonight.
