To attach deck I made a little drill guide to drill from the bottom and space the weld nut out the correct distance from the channel

Wheeling a flatbed is great. Get the cab past stuff then just let her eat.

With no spacers the tires rub the shocks a fair amount. I think I may be able to move the upper mount in towards the frame to avoid this and spacers. Filler neck works fine too.

Need to build hitch and headache rack

 

what area of NH you from? we go to epsom from SC MA a few times a year and theres a class 6 on it
called mtn road

trying to gather a network or try to link up for some wheeling in the future

I live ~10 minutes from Epsom. Any good features on that road? or just a gravel road?

Weedwacker? What kind of amateur do you think I am? I brought a nice honda lawnmower to clear the site. Big chainsaw for firewood. We were setup.

I put the old bed on that trailer and it fit too well, I could not do it. Didnt tell anyone else we were going camping with either so they all laughed on arrival.

I really like how it came out, really really like it.

Yep I have plans, just need to do some house stuff first then I will. In my weights post its basically the 40 lb thing.

 

I HEARD it is decent and theres youtube footage. fun fact, we had cabin night half way up mtn, and we were in her 2018 crv and i ventured up the class 6 road above our site 1/4 mile before turning around and telling myself im coming back with my tacoma

theres a road, sixth range rd i have pinned north of epsom for trying to have a few options within half an hr up there old mountain road and mountain road. seems cool for sure, heard the top is cool

maybe ill float it out on here in some way for a potential trail run in the future

I'll check it out sometime, about 10-15 away. The range roads arent anything special, sadly alot of dumping happens there so I typically pickup a bunch of junk while I am there.

 

good to know - i remeber hearing 'old mtn road' is the tougher of the mountain rd sections

if youre ever near providence or cape cod LMK my house is close to freetown forest legal and illegal wheeling and there is one fun climb on a legal section. rock steps style
