early on I went down once when I turned onto a gravel road and the front end washed out on me. tore my jeans and hurt my ego but otherwise I was fine. had to replace a turn signal, shift lever and clutch lever on my fz6r.

it was a humbling experience but I think overall taught me a lot from a relatively minor mishap.

Coffmans Thunder exhaust added yesterday. Video does not do this (slip-on) exhaust justice. Such a big improvement on aesthetics and sound!

Went to the HF sidewalk sale. 40% off Icon wrenches. I basically got the ratcheting ones free after buying the flex heads. 10mm-19mm

Try checking out a sporting goods store/fishing place. they may very well have some thin type neck gaiters too.

Received my Healtech speedohealer install plug today. Installed it, programmed it and it’s dialed. Now that I can see correct speed and RPMs I see that 60 mph with the DS set up was 6200rpm and now with the SM set up it’s 5800rpm. I can feel that it has slightly less pull so I am going to install the 13t front sprocket and see where that puts me. I will do that tomorrow because it’s freaking cold outside. Says it’s 62 but feels like 50 to me.

Definitely less pull, I often have to drop out of 6th and into 5th on highway stretches to keep speed. When this chain / sprocket set drops out I'll change to the 39T rear and hope that's enough to help. Only a 5% difference though.

    None... yet.
A cold 62 vs. a warm 62, I get it! Used to tease my ex about how she had shoes for sunny, mid-60's days vs. shoes for cloudy mid-60's days. She only found it slightly amusing...

What tires are you running? I have to say I've been SUPER impressed with my Shinko's, especially after getting the rear on the right direction! I run some very twisty back roads and they have shown zero signs of breaking loose at my fastest pace, plus they don't squirm over a few pieces of gravel like sport tires are inclined to do...

Which Shinko's? Need to start looking at a rear replacement here, likely by end of season. Not a ton of options though in 130/70/17.
