Installing drywall with the kid. I used to do it by myself, now I can barely do it with help. I am so out of shape.

And old. But mainly out of shape.

That’s Les Anderson and his world record catch. 97 lbs. I’ve seen that fish in person - it’s stuffed and on display at the visitor center up there - and it’s freakin huge.
Don’t forget the hot dogs, mustard, jiffy pop and s’mores supplies!
you forgot to bring his anti-chafing ointment again?!?!

Good afternoon everyone. The model train show was good, lots of beautiful dioramas/ mini layouts. Too many things that I'd love to have but simply can't afford them.

I saw this and thought that Weesa could use it for her pointy haired boss.

There were 6 'mini layouts' that you could vote on as 'best of show'. A few were very well done, this one got my vote. I must have spent 45 minutes looking at the details and only scratched the surface. It was about 2' x 4'.

I could definitely use that sign!
I love seeing the model RR stuff the local clubs do here. No interest in taking up the hobby myself but I can appreciate the time and effort put into making all of the tiny bits.

Not sure what’s going on here but I think I’ll be using a different outhouse for the rest of my trip

I think I’ve done my part supporting small business today
Went to my favorite quilt shop and bought a bunch of fabric.
Went out to dinner at a local diner.
Even though I’m stuffed from dinner I stopped at the local ice cream stand and got a sundae. It’s in the freezer for now.
    All local places, no chains.

Good morning. It's another soggy Saturday morning. I'm up early to get to the barber shop when it opens at 8am. Hopefully the barber won't be as flaky today and she will be there on time.

There are so many different facets to the model railroad hobby it's mind boggling. It can be like a physical/interactive art.

The part that is disturbing to me is the level of computer/programming that is involved with modern trains. The software that is needed get the locomotives to operate is not the easiest thing to comprehend ( at least not for me) and the pricing can turn away a lot of people. I also personally don't need anymore microsoft software data mining anything else that I'm doing.
