I've never replaced uniballs with a top cap like that. I assume you just press them out like normal and the top cap goes slides in before the uniball is pressed into the cup?

Did JD say they were gonna reach out to everyone who is still on the old misalignments?

I definitely strapped to what these could do, sure would be nice to get more droop.

Has anyone with the 62 swap checked their extended fuel breather hoses lately? Mine are completely dry rotted and worthless.

Thinking about getting a length of braided hose and some AN fittings to replace this with a more resilient setup. Though I may be over thinking some breather lines...
I guess I could just buy some PTFE hose and just use hose clamps and call it day.

It's just now my truck throws CELs and kills traction control (which can be nice at times) for evap.

I know this is covered somewhere in here, but no luck finding. About to do JD’s battery relocation to the bed. shows an additional link to 1/0 wire for the power. You guys think or anyone have experience running a winch off a busbar in the front. Drawing a lot of power and further distance… is my worry.

I wouldn’t run a winch on the other end of a truck with just 1/0

Looks good. Going to be moving your battery or just for storage?

People with the HOWE TC kit, did you just gravity drain the OE power steering fluid or force flush with air through lines?

I know it needs the specific AC Delco fluid mentioned in the thread pages ago. Just wondering if a little bit of OE fluid mixed with the AC Delco one will do much damage and such. Last thing id want is to mix them at all but anyhow. Didnt seem to see much of that info on here. Tried calling the shop today but no luck.

    Thanks!

Gravity drained mine and also put the return line into a bucket and turned the wheel back and forth which got the fluid out of the rack.

We need to see more details on the skid plate and how it is supported along its length.

I probably won't make one, but the rear part of the skid would be relatively easy to make something.

The skids have stringers. I made the original design (cad photo attached) with 3, but the middle one is a bit close to the trans for comfort, so I've only been including the two outside ones. Haven't seen the skid bend or dent yet from the 2 guys we tested it on that hammer their trucks pretty hard.

I realize you guys in Canada don't have any crime but would it be a huge pain to bend some flat plate to bolt to the stringers on the outside of the transmission skid for cat protection for us in the USA where people will break your window for $.75 in quarters? :D

I think I messaged you guys on IG about an option to include exhaust re-route parts, I think that would sell good too. Nobody wants Joe Bob spitballing their exhaust together.
