Superstitions, yea or nea?

Okay, a little with my motorcycle Gear. New motorcycle Gear needs to be touched to the ground before the first ride.

 

Once upon a time in Tacomaworldland there was a large and spirited debate about microwaving steak.
If you want to see Gordon Ramsey levels of spice, try reviving that one.

 

I have to rub some dirt into new work boots. Not for superstition, but because people notice boots that are always clean.

 

I've only been superstitious 3 times and they all turned out bad.

 

Setting your cruise to 69MPH and the climate control to 69 degrees is lucky! And by that I mean the girlfreind thougth I was trying to send a hint. It worked!

Only a monster would microwave steak. Although it's probably really a big come up for a microwave! Like a Lamborghini pulling into a Jiffy Lube!

 

To these points, I never set my volume level on '13'.

I just created an Instant Water company and I am working on my direct "Biz to Consumer" website. I am also in discussion with several major retailers. And an IPO is not out of the question if this thing takes off! Now I just sit back and wait for the big bucks to come rolling in!

As far as superstitions, prime numbers for alot of things. Honestly not sure why, though?

 

seems the answer 42 should have been prime.
edit: i stand corrected. life may mimic fiction but it is likely author (Adams) knew of the 42 answer needing a question. (i know - it's not for everyone)

It would be fun to hear superstitions that have only brought failure every time.

After two fvckups, everything might count as the 3rd. Did tripping on that staircase count? Did burning the bacon count? Did cutting my hand while opening a box count?

 

Loudly and angrily declaring that the police officer is more closely related to a farm animal than a person certainly can have regrettable results. This I know only from observation, not personal experience.
