How could your boat possibly be heavy enough to need that? Can you either take it off or just leave it up all the time?

If I had to guess the tongue weight is probably encroaching upon 100 lb so no it would not be fun to leave it up all the time and have to pick it up off the ground. Also due to the layout of our property combined with how busy the road we live on is, it's easier to pull the boat in forward attached to the vehicle and then put the wheel down to wheel it to where it gets stored so the trailer jack is completely necessary. I think I will most likely flip the ball around on my hitch to raise it up a little.

My dad's boat weighs about 1200 lbs but it's probably a very low tongue weight due to the big outboard on the back.

Since a quality house is unattainably priced at the moment it would just make sense to get a Miata right?

You had a Miata before, and you got rid of it. There was a reason, even if you're not remembering it.

If house feels unattainable now, it will feel doubly so when you have the added cost of an additional vehicle.

You do you, but if you want to own a home then sticking to one vehicle will make that an easier goal to achieve.

Sorry. Every party has a pooper, and I guess this time it's me. Only because I care, Tyler.

So long as it's pretend. I just don't want to see you make my mistakes. I know where that path leads.

I was purposely toeing the line tonight, spending time on the water when I knew a storm was coming. I confirmed something I saw in the reviews of the kayak. It hurries for no one and nothing. I was paddling like I was in the Olympics while getting soaked by rain and it didn't feel much faster than if I was casually paddling lol.

Ordered some seat risers tonight....for my kayak. They improved my previous kayak quite a bit so I figured I would give them a shot on this one just to see if it made it even better than it already is
